I remember this place to be such a vibrant restaurant with equally vibrant curb appeal but I was a bit disappointed to find it otherwise this time around. For a few seconds I thought they had closed. The entrance looked dusty and dirty, the tables all dirty and disorganized. I thought, did they close? Nope to my surprise they are open! Wow how sad! The entrance to a restaurant is the first impression that people will always remember! It is a way to make your costumers feel comfortable and welcomed! It prepares costumers for what is inside and on the table! Failure to execute that, you may miss an opportunity to convince people that what is inside is also good! Many good restaurants have closed because of failing to understand that! Bottom line is; a restaurant can have average food but if it delivers a warm welcome, clean floors, vibrant lighting and clean bathrooms, there is no reason why a restaurant should fail, not at all!

We found this tavern passing through on a roadtrip and we all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there. We had the smash burger, turkey and bacon hoagie, and the pickle fries. The pickle fries are a must try! Nice and quiet atmosphere at lunchtime on a Sunday, so it was perfect for us.

This was quite a charming little tavern with surprisingly yummy food. Not too many offerings but what they do have is delicious. Totally recommend the cheese fries and a couple hours by the fire table. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious with the battered fries. Hubs had the wings with the fries. Will totally go back. Would love to see more food options

First time. Love the bay windows and view. Taylor (server) was always on the move and very pleasant. Had the Italian sandwich and pulled pork. Great fries and get the deep fried pb&j. One's all you need to split. Delicious

This is THE perfect corner tavern! Whether you choose to sit on the patio and watch traffic go by, or inside where it is cozy without the feeling of being crowded, have a pint and some of the best food! I loved the fried pickles served with house-made ranch, with the softest pretzel with perfectly balanced beer cheese, which is also made in-house. The topper to this experience was the Tavern Burger, which was grilled with the perfect char and served on a fresh potato roll with crisp cold lettce, tomato, and pickle. This really let me know how fresh it was and not sitting under a heat lamp. Hats off to the kitchen team for your timing, especially being it was a 6-top of guests. This will be a definite stop every trip to Lake Eufala. Well done!!
